FILTER - ODOUR AND PARTICLES Motor craft Cabin Air Filters are engineered to provide superior performance and reliability. All Motor craft Cabin Air Filter designs undergo rigorous lab and real world tests in order to meet Ford engineering standards. Cabin Air Filters help keep the air flowing through the heating and air conditioning (HVAC) system clean and free from harmful particulates. Features multiple layers of filtering with an electrostatically charged layer that captures soot, smog and tobacco smoke. The particulate layer protects HVAC components by helping limit dust, mold, spores, pollen and fungus. Captures 90% of particles 10 microns or larger (an average grain of beach sand is 200 microns) and helps reduce dust inside the vehicle. Rigid polyester spun bound frame helps ensures the filter maintains its shape. Polyester laminated frame (in most models) helps reduce unfiltered air bypass and minimize leakage. Filter media is formulated for high temperature efficiency. All materials meet Ford Engineering requirements for resistance to odor propagation and anti microbial properties.
